Interests and positions of responsibility:

A keen artist, I continue to paint and draw, and am a member of a number of online artistic communities.

I enjoy travel and have a great interest in foreign cultures and languages.
I am enthusiastic about technology, and create websites, edit videos, and use digital art and desktop publishing software to develop my skills in the IT and design arena.

During university, I gained organisational and leadership experience as the Vice-president and secretary of the Edinburgh University Japanese Society (organising events, day-to-day running, liaison with the Japanese consulate in Scotland to organise joint events). Successful marketing of the Society led to a doubling of membership in the course of one year.
